Beaching It With The Stanley Cup

Small town living at it’s best. Celebrating all the LA Kings players that live here at the beach (all but one have homes here in the South Bay) by having a hometown “parade” through Hermosa & Manhattan Beach with the Stanley cup. As you can see I was right up there, as close as I could get, running down the street (like a freak) in front of the fire truck at some points. Did you really think I wouldn’t? Come on, you know me better than that…

That’s Kings center, Jarrett Stoll riding through Hermosa holding the cup.  And while we all kept screaming for him to “lift the cup”, the thing weighs about 45 lbs so I am sure after quite a few miles down the beach he was getting a bit tired of that.  It was a perfect day to ditch work, get some sun and honor our guys. I heard the cup (and the Kings) may show up tonight at their fav bar 2 blocks from my house. Get ready to party on.
